It’s been a week of autumn leaves and hibernating. The children really enjoyed being in the dens with the forest animals, having picnics and pretending to curl up and sleep. On Wednesday we even went on a bear hunt. But we think everyone’s favourite day was pitta pizza Thursday. You can’t beat making your own lunch.
Cooking with children is not just making food. It’s science in action, helping to lay down basic math, reading and time-telling skills, encouraging healthy food choices, building confidence, creativity and enhancing communication. Oh and it’s very tasty too!
